I’ve had multiple unpleasant experiences at Runabout Metal Script due to the behavior of one of the forklift drivers. Every time I’ve been on the premises, this individual has been extremely rude, aggressive, and constantly in an angry mood, which creates a very uncomfortable environment.
When I went into the office to complain about his behavior, instead of the issue being handled professionally, the forklift driver followed me and stated that “i am the manager here, no one can tell me nothing.” This response was unprofessional and concerning, especially for a workplace that should prioritize safety and respect.
I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior, because no customer or visitor should be treated this way.
Unfortunately, if there were an option, I would rate this company 0 🌟 instead of 1.

Went to Runabout Metals to trade in some old car batteries that had been lying around the house and was pleasantly surprised by the instant cash I received for what I thought was just junk! Been going there for long time Rip off place . The guy who works there have some anger proplems , he is rude and not professional at all .
He have an excuse not to pay for every single piece of equipment that you will drop off . Everything is full of insulation for him even a 250 kg castiorn , steel and stainlesteel oven .

The ladies in the office are great and I feel sorry for them to work with such person.

Customer experience is extremely important to us, and we take feedback like this seriously.Unfortunately, we don’t offer payment for certain products such as ovens or equipment that contain a large amount of insulation or mixed materials, this policy was explained to the best of our ability at the time. These materials often contain non-metal components that affect recyclability and value, which is why we’re unable to pay for them.To assist, we even recommended another scrap yard in Perth that does accept and pay for white goods, but understand you preferred not to travel there. I get scrap metal at work - inconvenient stuff like small lead acid batteries, mixed metal motors, and a mix of rather small steel and aluminium brackets. Not exactly prime stuff in the scrap metal industry.

They take it off my hands, they pay me for it, and they're always positive to deal with.
